it was a whimsical idea
- wallpapering the exterior of their cottage -
but ultimately the peeling failure was a monument
to their hapless bohemian spirit

    the vegetation taking over their whimsically useless outdoor curtains is also an excellent spirit monument

    the "wallpaper siding" proved to be an even bigger scam than the "magic beans" it came with

    which, miraculously, continued growing onward and upward
